Sara Marsh:GUITAR:
Sara grew up in Hawthorne, California. Influenced early by years of private piano lessons and her family's big band, jazz, and Beach Boys records, she began playing guitar and alto sax at 15. The sax playing ended in a dark college storage room playing chamber music; the lure of playing rock music in a dark garage was more fun with influences by Blackmore, Beck, Iommi, Rhoads, Clapton, Hendrix. She soon hooked up with four other like-minded females and played in L.A. based Bandit for five years. While continuing college in Kansas City, Sara played in country, blues, R&B, top 40, punk and speed metal bands. (No, not ALL at the same time.) Happy to be back home in California, she currently works with special needs students who think she's awesome without a guitar!
